Arrive at India’s only solar operated Airport, Kochi. Our representative will meet you and assist you to proceed to Kumarakom, a backwater destination. We expect you relax and enjoy the property and have the whole day to yourselves. Enjoy the dinner and stay at the hotel.
NOTE: Enjoy beautiful and radiating sunset from the hotel overlooking the Vembanad Lake.
After breakfast, we move on for Day Cruise at Kumarakom Backwaters. Enjoy a splendid lunch and high tea inside the traditional houseboat. Later onward, travel to our next location, Thekkady -
After a tiring day, we settle for the rest of the night at Thekkady.
After a soulful breakfast, enjoy a serene boat ride at Periyar Lake surrounded by Periyar Wildlife. Get ready for some top view as you will be enjoying the elephant ride. Later in the evening, be ready to be amused by the famous Kathakali Dance followed by striking moves of Martial Art Show
NOTE: Periyar is also known for its tiger reserve. Expect to catch a glimpse of Thekkady’s wildlife. Also, Thekkady being a hill station, rooms are non AC.
After an early breakfast, transfer yourself to the breathtaking views of Munnar – a hill station situated at an altitude of 5000ft to 8000ft above the sea level. Enjoy the sprawling Rubber and Tea plantations and luscious greenery all around. Later on, move ahead to Spice Plantation. Get to know the root of all spices and how they are cultivated.
NOTE: Munnar Roads are a part of Western Ghats. Please carry respective medicines if you expect motion sickness. Also, Munnar being a hill station, rooms are non-AC.
After fulfilling breakfast, head on for sightseeing at Eravikulam National Park. Later on, move to Mattupetty Dam, a concrete gravity dam and haven for many wild animals and birds. Enjoy your time at Echo Point and Devikulam. End your day by immersing yourself in the gift of nature, The Blossom Garden. This exotic place has fresh flowers and lush green scape.
NOTE: Munnar being a hill station, rooms are non-AC.
After your breakfast, depart from the hotel to Cochin Airport/ Railway station to board flight/ train respectively to your onward destination.
NOTE: Depart with most breathtaking views and experience for a lifetime. Take back with you the beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes, some spices and lots of memories.
